In this post I rounded up top multipoint Bluetooth headsets – not earbuds and headphones come with headset function. So all these Bluetooth headsets are merely for calls and they are worn on just one side, also called mono headsets. If you also like listening to music check out my post: best bluetooth earbuds for phone calls
What’s multipoint Bluetooth headset?
Multipoint feature allows Bluetooth headset to connect with two devices – two phones, laptop and phone, phone and tablet at once. But this doesn’t mean the headset will work with two devices simultaneously – when you answer a call from either devices the headset will be connected with the device receives that call. This comes handy when you have to switch back and forth between devices.
This is a built-in function of Bluetooth chipset with system on a chip (SoC).

Currenlty I haven’t found any Bluetooth headsets that can pair with up to 3 devices at once. That may soon come true with the latest advanced Bluetooth chipsets – Qualcomm, Broadcom and other Bluetooth chipset makers eventually release their first Bluetooth processors with integrated multipoint for 3 devices, since we have a smart watch, phone and table and laptop and a lot more to connect with our headsets.
