Bose’s long–awaited ANC TWS finally arrived.
Bose were among the first brand introducing the NC to the headphone but they were quite late to build this feature into their TWS. Until recently, a youtube video published by Josh Quill – unboxing the so called Bose Quietcomfort 700.
Quickly inspect the box pacage I found the name Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds with the following features:

Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds Release Date
Bose has not yet confirmed the release date of Bose Quietcomfort TWS , probably late 2020, the technical issues and the global pandemic delayed the release.
Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds Price
Again, it’s not specified but they may cost around $300, given the price of other competiors like $249 Airpods Pro or down to $230 Sony WF-1000XM3.
Design
They look a bit like bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live, but the housings are larger and don’t fit outside the canal and against the inside of your concha, instead the wingtips will fit in the ear canales creating semi in ear fit.
Earbuds are also sweat and resistant and feature touch control for track navigation, volume control and other functions with single, double, triple taps or swipes.
ANC Performance
Over-ear headphones like Sony WH-1000XM4 or Bose QuietComfort 35 II are most powerful ANC headphones with the performance that earbuds/in-ear earbuds are head to catch up with. But Bose claims Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds ACN is on par with these.
In the video, it also points out the new Bose ANC earbuds have a transparency mode – the feature allows you to hear the ambient sound in the most nature way.
The Quietcomfort Earbuds suports all voice assitants including Google Assistant, Alexa.
Battery life and charging
With ANC on I think the earbuds play less then 6 hours as stated on the box package, they get additional 12 hours from the wireless charging case.
The charging case and the mechanism to clip earbuds in the case is nothing special, not like experience with Airpods when we open and close the lid creating addictive and unique sounds.
Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds vs. Bose Earbuds 500
Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds is like a Pro version of Bose Earbuds 500 that will be released later – The Pro version includes new features like touch control, voice asistant, transparency mode and ANC.
Bose Quietcomfort TWS Earbuds Vs. Sony WF-1000XM3
Design wise, I will not compare Bose Quietcomfort TWS Earbuds with Airpods Pro, but Sony WF-1000XM3 a similar appearance which offers effective NC, and all other features that Bose Quietcomfort TWS Earbuds offers. If true, Bose could top Sony on ANC performance and sound quality.
