The latest pair of TWS from Amazon will include transparency mode and better NC performance. They will be shipped in May 2021, and their price is set to $120 for standard version and $140 for wireless charging case model. If you pre-order you can get a discount of $20 on Amazon.
The second gen of Echo Buds are supposed to have better sound, ANC, calls and sound quality.
The Echo Buds 2 include stability fins (silicon jacket with earhooks) that help earbuds fit more securely and comfortably in the ear than the first gen. However the IPX rating remains the same as IPX4.
The Echo Buds are powered by Realtek RTL8763C, the SoC that support SBC, and AAC-LC audio codecs, but it’s specfied which codec, but I guess it’s AAC-LC.
